  Although my home is a historic property, it is not an official contributor to Pasadena’s Historic Preservation Program. That said, Guardian approached the project with the same level of care, respect, and craftsmanship you would expect for a landmark building. They went above and beyond to ensure the structural integrity and historical character of my 125+ year-old home were preserved throughout the entire process.
  Estimator Justin Sudduth was outstanding—he provided a detailed breakdown of the scope of work, including tear-off and removal of old roofing layers, radiant barrier sheathing, laminated shingle installation, upgraded flashing, new ventilation systems, and more. His communication was clear and proactive, helping me understand each phase of the project and how it would contribute to both performance and longevity.
  What truly set Guardian apart was their ability to navigate the permitting process and coordinate with city officials, even ensuring appropriate documentation for the home’s age and significance. While my property wasn't subject to formal historic review, their commitment to following best practices in preservation and compliance was evident and deeply appreciated.
  On site, Bill Scot, the operator, led a highly skilled and professional crew. They were punctual, respectful of the property, and maintained a clean, organized job site throughout. Bill’s oversight and communication ensured the entire project stayed on track and was executed with excellence.
  Guardian didn’t just repair my roof—they honored the history of my home while strengthening it for the future. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for both modern standards and historical elements make them an exceptional contractor.

They were on time and kept everything clean at the end of the day. They arrived with a smile … More and were a pleasure to work with. They were not scheduled to work the day the inspector came but Carlos felt it looked like rain so he coordinated with the inspector and came in the afternoon. He and his crew stayed until the roof was covered and it did rain that night. They came back the next day and finished the roof. Wonderful crew. It was a pleasure to work with them.

  Mario was the superintendent responsible for the job and called me consistently to see how things were going and answered every question I had. Alex was my main contact throughout the job and arrived at 7:00 am everyday which I appreciated. He was very personable and I did my best to let him do his job. Whenever there was an area that had to be addressed, Alex would talk to me prior to changing anything without my permission. Freddie did a fantastic job of laying out the tiles and was very efficient and clean. My house was cleaned every day and I never had any issues. Mona Portillo along with Helen were great to work with from the office as well. As I mentioned earlier, Guardian Roofs went above and beyond my expectations!! Thank you for making us very happy.
